JRQuartet is a dynamic ensemble featuring some of the most promising young musicians from the Milan jazz scene. The group offers a fresh, expressive sound that blends intricate compositions with spontaneous interplay.
Led by Jaromir Rusnak, the quartet focuses on original music that balances strong melodic ideas with modern jazz influences, seamlessly merging structure and improvisation.
Since its formation, JRQuartet has performed in various jazz venues and festivals, shaping a distinctive musical identity. Their debut album, Everlasting Suite, is released under SJRecords on 20.03.2025.

Playing alongside musicians of this caliber is both humbling and inspiring. I’m grateful to be part of this journey with them.
Most of my music is written for a piano trio with an additional voice. In this quartet, that voice is Riccardo Sala on tenor saxophone, who has given our sound a unique depth and character. At times, I feel like Riccardo and Giuseppe have a dynamic similar to Dizzy and Bird - constantly challenging and inspiring each other to push further.
From the very first time we played together, it just clicked. Every element in the band is well-balanced, and we share a strong musical connection with a clear direction ahead. Being part of this quartet has been a huge source of inspiration and motivation for me, driving me to compose, grow, and always give my best.
