About the Quartet

Jaromir Rusnak Quartet is a Milan based contemporary European jazz ensemble led by Polish double bassist and composer Jaromir Rusnak. The project presents original music shaped by strong melodic writing, structural clarity, and collective interplay. 

Developed between Central Europe and the Mediterranean, the quartet reflects a distinctly European jazz language grounded in tradition yet forward looking in form.  Written structure and open improvisation coexist organically, allowing rhythmic flexibility and shifting meters to support the musical narrative with clarity. 

The debut album Everlasting Suite, released by SJ Records in March 2025, presents the quartet’s extended compositional approach in suite form.
